Vicky Huang, Ph.D
2024 President
Dr. Huang is currently the Product Director at CorDx Inc., a medical device company. Dr. Huang earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fudan University, a Master's degree in Mathematics from Ohio University, and a Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry. She has extensive experience in product management and regulatory leadership for medical devices and in vitro diagnostic reagents, including in areas such as cancer screening, women's health, drug screening, and infectious disease diagnostics. She has managed multiple projects in parallel and successfully secured $2 million in NIH project development funding. Several of her projects have been successfully approved by the FDA.
Since 2015, she has held various positions at the San Diego Chapter of the Chinese-American Association of Science and Technology (CAST-SD), including VP, President, and Chairman of the Board, as well as VP of the Education Department at the national level of CAST-SD. Over the years, she has actively organized national science and technology annual conferences, academic exchange forums, startup training seminars, and youth programs. She has made significant contributions to helping Chinese Americans and the next generation of Chinese Americans with their education, job search, employment, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the United States.
