Chinese Association for Science and Technology in the USA (CAST)
 

Introduction
The Chinese Association for Science and Technology in the USA (CAST) was established in August 1992 in New York City. It is a non-political, non-profit professional organization. Most of its members hold advanced degrees in science and technology, education, business, law, medicine, arts, and other fields. CAST is rapidly growing, with over tens of thousands of members in more than 30 states across the United States and chapters in 12 major cities including Washington, Boston, North Carolina, West Virginia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Dallas. CAST is one of the most recognized organizations among Chinese professionals in the United States.

Purpose
To promote academic exchange and professional development among members.
To facilitate information exchange and cooperation in fields such as science, technology, and trade among Chinese Americans.
To promote friendship and cultural exchange among members and contribute to the integration and development of local multicultural communities.

Activities
Organizing seminars and conferences in various professional fields and facilitating exchange programs among people of various ethnicities worldwide.
Establishing cooperative relationships with globally renowned companies, innovative enterprises, institutions, and organizations to create favorable conditions and environments for career advancement, entrepreneurship financing, market development, technology transfer, and asset investment among Chinese professionals in the United States.
Organizing team-building activities to strengthen interaction among chapter members and promote the exchange of information and professional knowledge in their respective fields.
